The Village Bakery in Bobenheim was planned and built in 2002
by members of the local  “Bürgerverein” (citizens’ society).

Still today flour has to be ground,
 starter dough must be prepared and
 later the finished baking mass
 has to be worked thoroughly.
Merely the heating is done by electricity, saving the toil of providing firewood
